My Portfolio of Work

A career of building capabilities where none existed — as founder of Link Analysis and REGENERINT, and inside defense, legal, and academic institutions.

01 · Open-Source & Protective Intelligence

OSINT for the protection of high-profile principals

HighGround Global · lead OSINT analyst & program builder
Context

Recruited by two former senior CIA officers into a small firm fusing open-source intelligence with the physical protection of people and institutions that were high-value targets for counter-terrorism adversaries.

What I did

Took the lead on the OSINT capability — evaluated technology vendors, selected the tool suite from scratch, built the workflows, and hired and trained analysts. Deployed overseas to provide security for a major sports league's international games.

Method

Geofenced digital "tripwires" around venues, hotels, and movement routes; 24/7 surface/deep/dark-web threat and narrative monitoring — real-time digital atmospherics fed directly to the physical-security operators on the ground.

Outcome

Gave protective teams scope and context far beyond the street. Principals included a former big-city mayor, the CEO of a leading data-analytics company, and a Fortune 500 founding family. An allied nation's intelligence service broke internal policy to let me work alongside their team on a high-risk event.

02 · Disinformation & Information Operations

Exposing a state-backed influence operation

Link Analysis · for a top-tier U.S. law firm
Context

A state-sponsored information-operations campaign targeting a U.S. ally, investigated for a top-tier U.S. law firm during a period of acute diplomatic sensitivity.

What I did

Led the entire analytic team and all intelligence synthesis, and personally built the master link charts. Flew solo to present the findings in person to the legal team and senior principals abroad — stepping in when the firm's own principal couldn't attend.

Method

Attribution analysis in i2 Analyst's Notebook; 315-entity link charts backed by the underlying data; an original method reverse-tracing shared web-tracking codes to unmask hidden "news" networks; account-creation and coordination analysis.

Outcome

Catalogued 23,000+ coordinated inauthentic accounts across six campaigns; evidenced terms-of-service violations that drove platform takedowns; supported international litigation.

03 · Corporate & Geopolitical Due Diligence

Investigations that changed decisions

Link Analysis · due-diligence & disinformation investigations
Context

High-stakes due-diligence and disinformation investigations for a cybersecurity firm founded by a former NSA Director, a corporate-investigations firm, and a UK digital-intelligence firm.

What I did

Ran multi-jurisdiction OSINT investigations on companies, funds, and persons of interest — from a foreign cyber firm and its sovereign-wealth owner to corporate acquisition targets.

Method

Screening across 38 international watchlists; corporate-registry, FARA, and campaign-finance tracing; Wayback-Machine forensics; geospatial verification; large-scale social-network analysis.

Outcome

Reports that materially changed client decisions — including a comprehensive dossier on a foreign cyber firm, and a persons-of-interest probe that surfaced an undisclosed criminal record behind a 100+-account network.

04 · Data Privacy & Governance

A Fortune-50 privacy program, built from zero

Venable LLP · senior privacy program manager
Context

A global technology platform serving billions of users, rebuilding its user-data safeguards under the largest FTC privacy enforcement action in U.S. history. I did this work as a senior program manager with the law firm Venable.

What I did

Ran cross-functional escalation response to high-risk incidents — data-scraping events and blockchain-traceable cryptocurrency-ransom cases — then built the compliance program that did not previously exist.

Method

Designed the processes and cross-functional workflows that brought engineers, lawyers, and leadership together to redesign, implement, and track the mandated safeguards; mapped cross-border regulatory frameworks for executive risk decisions.

Outcome

A functioning, auditable safeguards program, ensuring regulatory compliance and the proper handling and protection of user data across the data lifecycle.

05 · Geopolitical & Cultural Analysis

Reading the human terrain of a region in crisis

U.S. Marine Corps University (CAOCL) · Navanti Group
Context

The Mediterranean at the peak of a record migration and security crisis — and thousands of Marines preparing to deploy into it.

What I did

Wrote weekly intelligence for U.S. Special Operations clients at Navanti; then, as the Marine Corps' Mediterranean subject-matter expert, built and taught holistic country and regional analysis (political, economic, religious, social, geographic).

Method

Primary field research on the Central Mediterranean migration route; anthropological, first-principles regional analysis translated into pre-deployment curriculum.

Outcome

4,000+ Marines trained across 100+ briefings; 15+ region-specific courses built and delivered ahead of schedule — more than doubling the section's annual course output; hand-picked to teach international officers at the Expeditionary Warfare School; the first American invited to an international security symposium. Recognized with the Eagle Award.

06 · Strategic Engagement

Connective tissue for a national institution

National Defense University · College of Information & Cyberspace
Context

The Department of Defense's premier institution for higher education in the cyberspace domain and information environment, needing to expand its reach and profile across government, industry, academia, and the private sector.

What I did

Served as the connective tissue between those worlds — bringing the best capabilities and minds into the college — and produced executive decision-support for senior leadership.

Method

Built durable engagement infrastructure: an inaugural alumni board, a private-sector fellowship, reactivated academic partnerships, and automated reporting dashboards. Applied link-analysis tradecraft to institutional strategy.

Outcome

A university-wide strategic nodal analysis briefed to a three-star's decision-making — recognized with a challenge coin.

07 · Electromagnetic Environment & Cognitive Security

Building a research capability at a new frontier

REGENERINT · founder & principal researcher
Context

A blindspot hiding in plain sight: the electromagnetic operating environment — light, screens, wireless infrastructure — quietly shapes the biology that underlies cognition, yet almost no institution has assessed it.

What I did

Founded REGENERINT and built the research capability from zero — an evidence-tiered analytical framework applying intelligence tradecraft to circadian and quantum biology, alongside advisory for executives, health professionals, and institutions.

Method

First-principles analysis of peer-reviewed research; structured intelligence methodology — evidence tiering and source evaluation — applied to an emerging scientific domain; translation of complex biophysics into decision-ready guidance.

Outcome

Invited to brief department heads — and a former CIA Assistant Director — at Utah State University's Center for Anticipatory Intelligence; a growing advisory practice for individuals and institutions where cognitive security is a competitive advantage.
